- 10Spot is a local discovery app for events, happy hours, and the best independent bars, restaurants, and shops in your neighborhood. Follow your favorite places, get notified about what's happening, and send friends to experiences they'll love.
- How do I get the app?
- 10Spot is free on the App Store for iPhone. Download it, pick your city, and start discovering local spots.
- What cities are you in?
- We're live in Los Angeles, New York, Austin, and San Francisco, with more cities coming soon.
Rewards from your company
- What's a 10Spot Reward? Can I really spend this?
- Yes. A 10Spot Reward is real, and it is yours to spend at a local bar, restaurant or shop, sent to you by a company you know through 10Spot for Teams. It arrives by text or email from 10Spot (the email comes from [email protected]). If you want to check that it is genuine, write to [email protected] and we will confirm who sent it.
- What is 10Spot for Teams?
- 10Spot is an app for finding the best independent bars, restaurants and shops near you. Companies use it to send their people and their customers a night out instead of sending an Amazon or Starbucks gift card.
- Where can I use my reward?
- At any bar, restaurant or shop in our network in the city on your reward. You choose the spot when you open the link, and after that the reward works only there.
- Do I need the app?
- No. You can choose your spot and use the reward from the link. With the app, your reward waits for you until you are ready.
- When does it expire?
- The expiration date is printed on your reward, in capitals. Use it before then; after that date it no longer works.
- Can I get cash for it?
- No. A reward is never exchanged for cash, and you never pay anything for it: the company that sent it is charged only when you use it.
For Merchants
- How do I list my venue on 10Spot?
- We'd love to have you! Tap the Contact Us button below and our team will set up your profile.
- Does it cost anything?
- Listing on 10Spot is free for independent venues, with no setup fee, no monthly fee, and no credit card fees. There is a fee when someone redeems a reward at your place, and you keep the entire tip the company pays on top. See the full terms for merchants at 10spot.app/merchants.
- How does a redemption work at the register?
- Your staff verifies the live screen on the guest's phone, then rings it however your POS already handles it. Most merchants add a one-time 10Spot button that accepts any dollar amount, so there is nothing to install and nothing to connect. Watch the walkthroughs at 10spot.app/merchants.
- How do I manage my events?
- Once you're set up, you can post events, update your profile, and manage happy hours through our merchant console at connect.10spot.app.
Troubleshooting
- I'm having trouble with the app.
- Try updating to the latest version from the App Store. If the issue persists, tap the Contact Us button below and we'll help you out.
- I'm having trouble redeeming.
- Open your reward and tap Redeem when you are ready to pay, then show the screen to your server or bartender. The screen stays up for five minutes, and staff can see it is live. If the screen will not load, or the venue says they cannot take it, write to [email protected] with the place and the time and we will sort it out the same day.
- How do I contact support?
- Tap the Contact Us button below or email [email protected]. We typically respond within 24 hours.
