Quinn Johnson on keys, Sezin Ahmet on bass, and Gary Novak on drums play a Wednesday night jazz set at 1881 in Pasadena. The cover is $10 cash with a two-drink minimum.
A dark little jazz den where the drinks are stiff, the crowd’s mixed, and the music hits like a slow pour. Wednesdays mean world jazz, weekends bring vocals or samba, and there’s always a $10 cover keeping things just exclusive enough. Come solo, leave buzzing.
