Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips signs copies of his first children's book, I Am an Eye I Don't Know Why, at The Last Bookstore at 3pm on Saturday, October 17. Signed hardcover copies require a reservation in advance.
Part literary labyrinth, part art installation, this massive book and record emporium is housed in a former bank, because of course it is. You’ll find tunnels made of books, a vault full of rare editions, and enough nooks and crannies to lose an afternoon. And maybe your sense of direction. There’s also a craft classroom and a café, just in case the idea of reading without a $7 latte makes you uncomfortable.
