Volvox opens The Sound Room with stripped-back, hypnotic techno before Isis Azarene takes the set further into high-impact territory. Volvox co-founded ABOV FLINTA with trans icon Dominga e Dominga, building a reputation for centering queer and trans voices in dance music.
If you treat Public Records like just a bar, you’re missing the point. It’s a whole mini-campus built for sound. Start upstairs with a drink in near-silence, then drift into the Sound Room where the system is so dialed it feels physical. Plant-based cocktails, a courtyard to reset, and DJs who actually care. Come for one thing, end up three rooms deep at 2am.
