UG Comedy tapes a live pilot episode of its new stand-up competition series, UG! Knockouts, at EastVille Comedy Club. Comics face off for the title of UG! Knockouts Champion in the first of a three-episode taping running through October.
Brooklyn's oldest comedy club, a low-lit room where national touring acts share the stage with local sets most nights of the week. The setup is simple (beer and popcorn while comics work through their sets) and ticket prices stay modest enough to make it a regular stop. Doors at 7pm; arrive early and you get the better seats.
