Truth Club, a monthly songwriter series, features Alfonso Velez, Diane Gentile, and Mike Baillie, hosted by Maddy Wyatt and John Brodeur. The early show starts at 4pm.
Three connected spaces on South 5th: a front bar, a piano lounge in back, and an outdoor patio that opens when the weather cooperates. The crowd runs queer and allied, the cocktail menu is approachable, and Saturday afternoons tend to slide naturally toward karaoke and drag shows as the night builds.
