THPD kicks off a free live music night at Bigfoot West on September 23, followed by sets from 922 and DJ Henry Thrill running until around midnight.
A wood-paneled, Big Bear-core bar dropped smack in West LA, where the taxidermy stares you down and the shuffleboard gets aggressively competitive after two rounds. It’s dark in that flattering, “no one can see my emails piling up” way, with a back patio that fills up fast once the sun dips. Expect strong drinks, flannel energy (ironic and unironic), and a jukebox that’s not afraid of early-2000s bangers. Equal parts neighborhood hang and accidental dance floor, especially when someone decides it’s shots o’clock.
