Joint Seafood's third block party brings live tuna breakdown and cutting demos plus a lineup of food and drink vendors including Yang's Kitchen, Saucy Chick Eatery, and Bar Jomo. Free admission and parking, with giveaways and prizes throughout.
The motto here is “Fresh is boring,” and Joint Seafood backs it up by dry-aging Ora King salmon and branzino in open cold cases for weeks, concentrating flavor while stripping away any trace of fishiness. Seasonal imports and local shellfish fill out the market, while the hand roll bar next door turns the day’s catch into temaki on the spot. One of the few seafood shops where aging, not freshness, is the selling point.
