Saturday, November 7, 2026, 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM · Gold Sounds, Bushwick, New York City
DC punk band The Goons headline a matinee showcase at Gold Sounds with NYC hardcore, post-hardcore, and noise/grind acts Bowhead, Burn Him, and Cocaine Mitch. Doors at 2pm, music starts at 3pm, 18+ entry.
Gold Sounds pairs a plant-based menu with indie rock and experimental sets. With a pool table, films (ironically or not) on the bar screen, and Comedy Tuesdays, it’s a spot for unexpected hangs. Cozy, unpretentious, and with craft cocktails to match the mood, the intimate vibe gives the place a unique, anything-can-happen feel. Whether you’re sipping drinks, playing pool, or absolutely raging to live music in the back room.
