Artist opens The Distance From Here, a series of paintings memorializing pedestrian crash victims tied to real intersections, as part of Arts Gowanus Open Studios at Littlefield. The show connects street safety data with the places we pass every day.
An independent live music and performance venue in a Gowanus warehouse booking hip-hop, folk, soul, comedy nights, and Punderdome, the weekly pun competition with its own devoted regulars. Beer, wine, and cocktails at the bar, rotating local and national acts on stage, and a flexible layout that handles crowds without feeling like a stadium.
