Fourteen seats hidden inside Chinatown’s Canal Arcade, where the entire meal unfolds around a live charcoal fire fueled by kishu binchotan. The 16-course yakitori omakase works through nearly every cut of organic Amish chicken with obsessive precision, while seasonal vegetable courses quietly steal scenes along the way. Despite the level of cooking, the room stays relaxed and understated rather than ceremonious.
