Red Lion Tavern runs its October stein holding tournament every Saturday at 3pm and Wednesday at 7pm, with round winners earning merch and a free beer. Round winners advance to the November 7th championship for a $100 gift card and a 2026 Red Lion stein.
A Silver Lake institution where the beer comes in giant steins, the sausages arrive with purpose, and the patio feels like Oktoberfest took a permanent vacation in LA. Inside, it’s 2 levels, all dark wood and low ceilings; outside, it’s strings of lights, long tables, and someone inevitably clinking glasses a little too hard.
