Yasushi Matsui celebrates the finale of his decade-long SKRAPS project with a book release party and gallery opening, featuring DJ Mike Boo, W.A.L.A., and a live saxophone set from Marcus Stephens. Only 49 complete three-volume book sets exist, with one full set torn apart and framed for the exhibition.
A genuinely warm neighborhood cafe in Noe Valley, built for leisurely mornings over Joe Coffee and simple, solid sandwiches. Egg or turkey-avo. Kids get complimentary fruit and avocado plates, regulars stay long past their first cup, and the whole place wraps up by 3pm.
