Saturday, October 24, 2026, 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM ยท Sweet Pickle Books, Lower East Side, New York City
Sweet Pickle Books joins six other Lower East Side and Village bookstores, including Yu & Me Books, Book Club Bar, Bonnie Slotnick Cookbooks, Village Works, Pillow-Cat Books and Afterword Bookshop, for the sixth annual Halloween bookstore crawl on Saturday, October 24. The all-day event invites visitors to hop between participating shops for Halloween-themed browsing and festivities.
A bookstore that decided books and pickles belong together, and somehow, they were right. The shelves are filled with used and new books, and the jars of house-made pickles add an unexpected but fitting touch. A perfect place to browse, chat, and leave with something to read. And something briny to snack on.
