Drummer Simon Phillips brings his band Protocol 6 to Catalina Jazz Club for three nights of jazz-rock and fusion, September 4-6. The lineup features Ernest Tibbs, Otmaro Ruiz, Alex Sill, and Phillip Whack.
A dinner-and-jazz club on Sunset where Grammy nominees and touring acts take the stage several nights a week. Short rib quesadilla with house guacamole, shrimp scampi, and blackened catfish anchor the food. Arrive before the first set and plan to stay for the second.
