The Bamboo Club marks Shangri-La Record Hop's 7th anniversary with an all-day rockabilly and doo wop bash featuring six live bands including Pachuco Jose Y Los Diamantes and The Scimitars, plus over 15 DJs across three rooms. Music runs 4pm to 1am, all ages until 9pm, with tickets priced at $8 presale or $10 at the door.
Long Beach’s tropical fever dream, where the rum is strong, the lights are low, and every night feels vaguely like a vacation you didn’t fully budget for. It’s all thatched accents, glowing lanterns, and a patio that fills up fast once the DJs kick in. The cocktails lean tiki in the best way (layered, boozy, and dressed to impress) while the dance floor slowly turns into a very friendly sweatbox. Equal parts island escapism and LBC neighborhood party.
