Rintaro Mikami celebrates his second album, Cosmolamps, with a quartet featuring trumpeter Robert Vega, tenor saxophonist Tal Kalman, keys player Noam Avnon and bassist Simón Willson. The Carlin Lee Quintet opens, and physical CDs are available at the show.
Behind a small blue light on Ave C (the venue's only exterior sign) live jazz, world music, and avant-garde acts run every single night in a low-ceilinged Alphabet City room that fills fast.
