RYLA's 4th annual Ramen Night features three one-night-only bowls, including a sake chicken ramen from Chef Hiro Yamanouchi of Kashiwa Ramen and a tuna-kotsu ramen from Chef Nobu Ishiai of Takara Ramen. The full sushi menu, cocktails, and a sake flight round out the evening.
Japanese-Taiwanese kitchen where the Hokkaido milk bread (pull-apart, slightly sweet, served with nori and tobiko spread) sets an ambitious tone before the mains arrive. The menu pivots between black truffle fried rice with Chinese sausage and pork belly benedict with yuzu hollandaise, seasonal California cooking filtered through two culinary traditions.
