Lost Control, a Joy Division coverband, headlines a post-punk night at Hotel Vegas with Paper Sister opening, followed by 80s karaoke. Cover is $5 with $5 drink specials all night.
An indoor stage, a covered outdoor stage, free pool tables, and a resident Italian food truck all share the same graffiti-tagged Salinas Building on East 6th. The backyard patio bleeds into sister bar Volstead Lounge, so a night out can migrate sideways between shows without anyone deciding it should. Cold Lone Stars and live music cycle through nearly every night. Cumbia, punk, hip-hop, whatever’s on the calendar.
Chicken parm on fettuccine with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella. Late-night fuel.
Mozzarella-topped garlic bread with truffle oil, housemade marinara on the side.
