The first annual Parkside Hell-O-Ween brings three live acts to Parkside Lounge: debut set from The Dad Jokes featuring Patti Rothberg, AIH the Band, and Density Black Cat. $5 admission at the door, costumes welcome, 21+.
An old-school dive with no patience for pretense. The stage in the back has hosted everything from punk shows to poetry readings, and the jukebox up front is stacked with the kind of songs that sound better and better with each round. A place for cheap beer, live performances, and the kind of nights that stretch longer than you planned.
