Dawn Club joins the global Negroni Week charity event with two original riffs from bartenders Cameron Keys and Amanda Ancheta starting September 21. Keys' tropical Thelonious Funk uses Demerara and McCoy rums with an orange citrus foam, while Ancheta's Tea for Two blends Orchard House Scotch with apple and Earl Grey tea.
Art Deco lamps, a glowing sign that still reads "DANCING COCKTAILS ENTERTAINMENT," and nightly jazz anchor the basement of the Monadnock Building, where a speakeasy first opened in the 1930s. The whiskey program spans rare Yamazaki, Pappy, and other hard-to-find bottles, organized into 11 tasting flights, while cocktails like The Hot Seven (rye, Génépy, lime, and Maraschino) show just as much finesse.
