Moochie's Ribshack Smoked BBQ pop-up serves smoked ribs and sides at Gold Rail Bar in Glendale starting at 5 PM Friday. Pre-orders are open now.
Pressed-tin ceilings, dim and narrow, proudly unfussy, with a seen-everything steadiness. Cheap drinks, a solid jukebox, and a back patio that fills up fast once the night gets going. The crowd swings from old-school regulars to Eastside creatives pretending they discovered it first, and the place does exactly what a historic dive is meant to do, with no reinvention and no attitude.
