Love & Happiness Band plays Half Step's Sunday Funday from 4 to 7pm, with PDA Band also on the bill.
The menu reads like a classics primer (Daiquiris, Floradora, Remember the Maine, Prescription Julep) but the execution is the point: precise cocktails at $11 with an ice program most bars skip. The patio out back stays loose while the bar runs quietly and efficiently.
Tequila, cucumber, lime, Suze, and soda — light and bitter-bright
Cognac and rye split the julep duties, layered with mint and sugar.
Rye, sweet vermouth, cherry heering, and absinthe — a Manhattan with depth.
Gin, lime, ginger, and raspberry syrup — a bright, tart classic.
