Friday, October 9, 2026, 11:00 PM - 6:00 AM · The Saxon Pub, South Lamar, Austin
The Saxon Pub hosts two nights of live music for ACL Weekend Two, with sets from Andrea Magee, Louisiana Surf Department, Coby Weir, Jim Scarborough, and a birthday show for Ray Prim. Saturday runs eight hours straight, closing out with Yahtzee Brown at 10pm.
Kris Kristofferson once said playing here felt like performing in his own living room, which says more about the room’s intimacy than anything on the beer list. Free weekday shows draw a steady mix of locals and touring acts into a space so small you’re effectively right beside the stage, whether you planned to be or not.
Warm spinach artichoke dip with chips, perfect pre-show snack.
Cold Guinness pour at the listening room bar.
Bar nachos with all the fixin's — reliable fuel between sets.
