Labor Day continues with a full lineup of live acts, starting with Moi and Tomorrows Bad Seeds at noon, reggae from Wais on the patio at 4pm, and a jazz jam session at 8pm.
A beachfront jazz institution that smells faintly of salt air, spilled beer, and musical history, in the best possible way. By day it’s a casual surf-adjacent hang, but at night the lights go low and the room fills with serious players, serious listeners, and people who wandered in and accidentally learned something. The walls have seen legends, the bar keeps it simple, and the energy lands somewhere between reverent and rowdy depending on the set. You come for the music, stay because there’s nowhere else you’d rather be mid-song, mid-drink, mid-moment.
Jalapeño tequila, pineapple, lime, black salt. A spicy, sweet, and salty seaside classic.
Tempura fried codfish, salsa verde, radish, crema. A Hermosa Beach staple since 1949.
Buttermilk chicken sando with kogi slaw, sweet pickle, gochujang mayo. A Hermosa Beach staple.
