Cocteau scholar Chloë Cassens gives a lecture on the 1946 film La Belle et la Bête, exploring its backstory and 80-year legacy since premiering at the first Cannes Film Festival. Cassens is the granddaughter of Severin Wunderman, holder of the world's largest Cocteau collection, and has spoken at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and British Film Institute.
