Kyle Rapps performs a free in-store set at Record Surplus on Saturday, October 17 at 7pm.
A Mar Vista vinyl institution where crate-digging is a full-contact sport and the selection runs deep. The space is big, packed, and gloriously analog. Rows of used records, rare finds behind glass, and handwritten dividers guiding you through decades of sound. Regulars flip with laser focus, newcomers get happily overwhelmed, and the staff actually knows their inventory. It’s loud in spirit, even when it’s quiet.
