Ornithology Jazz Club screens Jigoku (1960) as the first installment of curator Christi Graff's Highly Visual Japan series. Ticket includes access to two live jazz sets on the terrace before and after the film.
A jazz performance space built around a Bechstein grand piano. Two listening rooms run simultaneously on most nights, live music starts at 6pm, and the sets regularly go past the posted hours. Cover charge applies, cocktails are solid, and the room keeps you close to the music.
