Live jazz runs Sept 9-12 at Midnight Blue featuring Mike LeDonne, Brian Charette, Bill Sellenraad, Vito Dieterle, and Freddy DeBoe among others. Wednesday has a $10 music fee, Thursday through Saturday jumps to $20.
A jazz bar for people who love jazz and a cocktail bar for people who love cocktails, all under one roof. The front “whisky library” sets the tone with rare bottles and an air of hushed reverence, but the real magic is in the main room, where some of the world’s best jazz musicians take the stage while bartenders in pressed denim pour drinks with just as much artistry. Heavyweights come for the music, mixology obsessives come for the cocktails, and more often than not, they leave with a new appreciation for both.
