Iron Lung headlines a hardcore punk bill at Chess Club with Mortuary Assistant, Puppy Mill, Criminal Assault, and Automated Execution. Doors at 7pm, music at 8pm, $20 at the door.
A music bar that named itself Chess Club and then pulled out all the chess boards. Live music fills the room at least five nights a week, the full bar keeps pace with the bands, and the outdoor patio handles the overflow when the headliner is loud enough.
