Thursday, November 5, 2026, 12:30 AM - 2:00 AM · Friends and Lovers, South Brooklyn, New York City
Hey Boo Comedy, hosted by Chika and Lauren Davis, features an all-Black woman lineup of comics including Amber Singletary, Grace Johnson, Kimberley Coleman, and Jess Asante.
Friends and Lovers splits cleanly in two. Bar up front, and a back room that flips between DJs, live sets, and comedy depending on the night. It’s cash only, and the crowd comes prepared, especially once things shift to the back. You can hang at the bar, but the real move is following the noise and seeing where it lands.
Mezcal, Campari, sweet vermouth. Their most distinctive $12 cocktail
Rye, dry vermouth, lemon, grenadine, a Prohibition-era throwback
Fruity, strong, perfect for the dance floor crowd
