mon, tue, wed, thu, fri, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM ยท Gowanus + Red Hook, New York City
$5 draft beer, $5 wine, $10 frozen cocktails, $1 oysters
A Red Hook saloon operating in one form or another since the 1890s, with knickknacks covering every surface and live bluegrass, folk, and blues most weekends. The Conover Street address puts it deep into the neighborhood. Far enough from the subway that the crowd arrives on purpose.
