The Gianaras family has run this Noe Valley corner since 1977. First as their parents' Greek restaurant Panos', now as NOVY, with daughters Kristen and Kathryn running the room in a more relaxed key. The menu leans into the classics: moussaka with ground lamb, eggplant, and béchamel, lamb gyros, entree salads, and the Panos Burger, which keeps the original name alive. Beer and wine on tap, a parklet out front, and the kind of neighborhood ease that only comes from being here for decades.
