Dawn Club is pouring two limited Halloween cocktails, Witchcraft and Strange Dreams, available October 26 through 31 only. Witchcraft is built on Cabernet and LeCarrē Brandy, while Strange Dreams uses High West Campfire and Cynar.
Art Deco lamps, a glowing sign that still reads "DANCING COCKTAILS ENTERTAINMENT," and nightly jazz anchor the basement of the Monadnock Building, where a speakeasy first opened in the 1930s. The whiskey program spans rare Yamazaki, Pappy, and other hard-to-find bottles, organized into 11 tasting flights, while cocktails like The Hot Seven (rye, Génépy, lime, and Maraschino) show just as much finesse.
