Majority-dirt gravel ride through the Headlands from the James Abram Garfield Monument to Magnolia Brewing, celebrating Slug Bicycles' new steel Earthling gravel bike. Riders should bring at least 40c tires and some off-road experience.
The original gastropub/brewery at Haight and Masonic, pouring house-brewed ales and American fare from the same corner since 1997. The burger draws regulars from across the neighborhood, the beer list rotates through house IPAs and pale ales brewed on-site, and the patio fills on any afternoon the Haight cooperates.
