Kaiyo Handroll Bar opens its Union Street location on September 11, bringing Peruvian Nikkei flavors and Japanese handroll technique to Cow Hollow. Guests can order at the bar or get tableside service from rolling handroll carts.
A Nikkei rooftop bar on the 12th floor of SoMa's Hyatt Place, with views toward Oracle Park and a cocktail menu running Peruvian pisco alongside Japanese-inflected drinks. The outdoor terrace runs tropical (bamboo, greenery, city views) and the kitchen sends up ceviches, tiraditos, and oysters.
