KJ Kisser hosts karaoke at The Mermaid on the first Thursday of the month, running 8pm to 1am with no cover.
A nautical-themed dive in Little Tokyo where the cocktails lean tropical and karaoke nights have a way of extending your evening by several hours. The outdoor beer garden in front draws a good cross-section of DTLA. One of the friendlier dive setups in the neighborhood.
