Documentary screening of First They Came for My College follows the political takeover of New College of Florida through its student newspaper, faculty, and students. Director Patrick Bresnan and producer Alysa Nahmias join for a post-screening conversation Saturday.
A beloved video store reborn as Eagle Rock’s coziest cultural clubhouse, where indie rentals, repertory screenings, and deep-cut movie nerdery coexist with popcorn and actual enthusiasm. Come to browse the shelves, stay because there’s a screening in the back, someone’s arguing about Paul Schrader, and it suddenly feels illegal to leave.
