Growers Alexandre Lamblot, Aurélien Gerbais, and Dominique Moreau of Marie Courtin pour their wines at this Champagne tasting with Polaner Selections. Tickets are $80 and include a $20 store credit, with special pricing on bottles.
A serious wine shop with enough range to accommodate both a weeknight bottle and a once-in-a-decade splurge. Shelves are packed with organic, biodynamic, and small-production wines from France, California, and beyond, while free weekend tastings make it easy to discover something new before committing. The selection is deep without being intimidating, which is part of the reason people keep coming back.
