Thursday, October 8, 2026, 11:00 PM - 2:00 AM · Heavy Manners Library, Echo Park, Los Angeles
Echo Park Chess Club meets at Heavy Manners Library on Thursday, October 8th from 4-7pm. All ages and skill levels are welcome, so bring your own set if you've got one.
A hushed bunker of underground publishing where zines, self-published oddities, and art books stack into dreamy, half-lit towers. More gallery than quiet study hall, it pulses with rotating exhibits, video projections under trees, and weekend collabs with zine vendors. Membership lets you check out from the collection; as a visitor, you’ll just want to hang and soak in the weird, slow magic.
