Durations Festival runs November 9-15 across Public Records, Roulette, Pioneer Works, and the Whitney Museum with live showcases, club sets, and audiovisual performances. Lineup includes William Basinski's three-night residency, buttechno and Eiko Ishibashi A/V sets, and Terre Thaemlitz's debut live piano performance.
If you treat Public Records like just a bar, you’re missing the point. It’s a whole mini-campus built for sound. Start upstairs with a drink in near-silence, then drift into the Sound Room where the system is so dialed it feels physical. Plant-based cocktails, a courtyard to reset, and DJs who actually care. Come for one thing, end up three rooms deep at 2am.
