Eight drag queens compete for the crown in a Halloween-themed showdown hosted by Dougalicious with music by DJ Mars. Contestants include Travesdee, Girlie, Dalton Chase, Aiana Shaw, Missile Aneous, Opal Lamé, Kelly from Kansas, and a surprise contestant.
A barbershop by day, low-lit cocktail den by night. Because Highland Park loves a plot twist. Slip past the buzzing clippers and into the back room where the drinks are strong, the booths are snug, and the crowd looks like they all own at least one vintage leather jacket; it’s the kind of place where you come for “just one” and end up closing it down under a neon glow.
Seven varieties including a pastrami reuben with Swiss and sauerkraut.
Gin, bergamot, falernum, lemon, grapefruit, and mint.
Reposado tequila, Mr. Black, vanilla, and cold brew. Interesting variation on a theme.
