Saturday, October 10, 2026, 12:00 AM - 3:00 AM · Bar Orai, Midtown, New York City
DJ esa spins an 8 to 11pm set at Bar Orai as part of its October lineup of DJ nights. Reservations are required through Resy for guaranteed seating.
Your journey starts with a buzzer on 52nd that opens into a second-floor listening room wrapped in 2,000+ records and a deep bench of Japanese whisky. The sound is tuned properly (bass traps built into the walls and ceiling) so everything from hip-hop to jazz to soul lands clean and intentional. Small groups only, two-hour turns, and a quick Instagram check before you go; once you’re in, the room does the rest.
