DICE, Ditmas Park's indie comics festival, kicks off with a Friday evening soirée featuring a reading and exhibition of curated comics, followed by the Comics Fair on Saturday from 12-6pm at Brooklyn Artery and Taylor & Co. Books. The festival marks its third year showcasing local comic artists across queer comics, furry fantasy, magic memoir and kids comix.
A neighborhood shop in Ditmas Park where the shelves are packed with handmade jewelry, puzzles, cards, and home goods from local and fair-trade makers. The selection changes often, so it’s easy to lose track of time poking around for surprises, and the back room hosts readings, markets, and workshops that keep things lively.
