Saturday, October 10, 2026, 4:00 AM - 9:00 AM · Akbar, Silver Lake, Los Angeles
DJ Steve Taylor spins rare disco, jazz funk, and soul at Akbar on Friday, Oct 9th. No cover charge for this late-night dance set.
Akbar feels like Silver Lake’s long-standing clubhouse: punk roots, cheap drinks, crowded dance room, mellow front lounge. DJs, drag, sing-alongs, themed nights (Planet Queer, Bears in Space, etc.), the calendar is full, and the vibe is refreshingly all-inclusive. No velvet ropes, no attitude; just a place to show up, move, laugh, maybe stumble out after last call with your shoes half off.
