Bright Light Bright Light hosts an all-Madonna and collaborators dance party at Club Cumming with no cover and $6 mimosas from 4-5pm. Guests can request any Madonna song on a Post-It to close out the summer.
You enter through a modest storefront near the Bowery. But up a few flights, you're stepping into a queer wonderland: chandeliers, vintage mirrors, chaise lounges, fringe lamps, sequins on every surface, and a mood like someone’s glamorous house party that’s never ending. Owned by Alan Cumming, it blends cabaret, performance, DJ sets, and spills over into drag, burlesque, comedy, and wild karaoke. So expect surprise guests, theatrical moments, and an inclusive crowd dressed wide-open. Drinks lean strong, music eclectic, and by midnight the place feels less bar than living room on fire.
