Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 3:00 AM - 6:00 AM · Bob Baker Marionette Theater, Highland Park, Los Angeles
Bob Baker Marionette Theater is holding a community ofrenda for Día de los Muertos, where guests can leave a small photo or item to honor a loved one. Items can be left at shows through November 8.
Perch on a red-cushioned carpet circle as life-size marionettes strut across a vintage Art Deco stage, strings glowing under warm, theatrical lighting. This is puppetry far from kindergarten fare. The space, a lovingly reimagined 1920s silent-era movie house, folds nostalgia and hand-crafted charm into every corner. From the lobby’s daisy‑tile floors to post‑show free scoops of ice cream for all ages.
