Cumbiatón returns to El Rio on September 6 for a Labor Day weekend dance party with cumbia DJs from the Bay Area and LA. Ticketed event closing out the summer day party series.
A queer community bar on Mission Street with a giant back patio that runs from punk shows on Friday nights to salsa orchestras and drag on the weekends. Free oysters land on the deck every Friday at 5:30pm, and the house margaritas (Espolon tequila or El Silencio mezcal, both squeezed fresh) are the other reason to show up early.
