Organizers from Stop LAPD Spying and SJP at UCLA lead a panel on COINTELPRO and modern police surveillance at Midnight Books. The flyer lists the start time as 3:30pm on October 3rd.
A little literary clubhouse tucked into Chinatown where shelves lean radical, zines stack high, and strangers turn into co-conspirators over a reading list. The room is candle-cozy without the candles, more salon than store, and the events feel like house parties for people who annotate. You come to browse and end up sticking around to listen, read, or plot your next tiny revolution.
