Carinne Salnave hosts a comedy show at El Rio with dinner from East Oakland Smoke and music from The Junior. Doors open at 7:30pm with the show starting at 8pm.
A queer community bar on Mission Street with a giant back patio that runs from punk shows on Friday nights to salsa orchestras and drag on the weekends. Free oysters land on the deck every Friday at 5:30pm, and the house margaritas (Espolon tequila or El Silencio mezcal, both squeezed fresh) are the other reason to show up early.
